Palingenesis is a rouge bullet hell/visual novel that follows a young woman, Theophania after her untimely death as she journeys through the underworld in her quest to be reborn. The goal is to fight all of the bosses as fast as possible without losing all of your health! This game was made using Monogame for PC and is entirely in C#

This was a major capstone for my second game design class. I worked in a team of five for the semester and we would have team meetings twice a week over five sprints that each consisted of three weeks. We saw this game through from concept to final delivery, you can see the entire process in our extensive documentation here.

I worked on the visuals, sound, UI, and character dialogue of this game. Coding the visual novel portion and designing the Rice Goddess were the contributions I'm most proud of! This project taught me a lot about working in a team and using the agile development process as well as the thorough nature of documentation.Â
